Whether you want to work on strengthening your hockey skills or practice hockey for fun, Stick & Puck may be for you. During these open hockey practice sessions, multiple nets are set out for use.
Participants ages 18 and older must wear helmets and hockey gloves. Participants under the age of 18 must wear full hockey equipment.
Coached Stick & Puck
In addition to our regular Stick & Puck sessions, we now offer Coached Stick & Puck sessions for you to practice your skating and hockey skills with private coaching lessons. Participation is open to players ages 5 and older, and all participants must be accompanied by a DU approved coach. To coordinate with an approved coach, please contact Shawn Reid at 303-871-3388.
Family Stick & Puck
New for summer 2018, Family Stick & Puck is a recreational, non-competitive hockey session for parents and children ages 12 and under who want to have fun and enjoy playing hockey. The level of play must be at the beginner level, and puck must stay on the ice at all times.
All participants must bring their own sticks, but the DU staff will provide pucks. All participants (children and adults) must wear helmets. Children must wear full hockey equipment, and we recommend that adults also wear hockey equipment. Children must always be supervised on-ice by a parent or adult. Older siblings under the age of 18 cannot be substitutes for parents.
