Peewee AA: Quebec International ChampionsJr. Pioneers Hockey represented the Colorado Avalanche with a win at the 55th Annual Quebec International Peewee Hockey Tournament. DU’s Peewee AA team finished the tournament with a 4-1 win over the Austrian Selects in Sunday’s championship game.

The Jr. Pioneers/Colorado Avalanche went 4-1 in the tournament, beginning with a 2-6 loss to Drummondville, followed by four straight wins: 6-2 over Quebec-Ouest, 7-0 over Montmorency, 4-0 over Atlanta and then 4-1 in the final.

The Quebec tournament is considered one of the larger and most prestigious international youth hockey tournaments, featuring 110 teams from 14 countries.
