The DU Pioneers Hockey program came in at No. 1 on both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine NCAA Div. I Hockey polls this week for the first time since March 15, 2015 that the Pioneers have been ranked No. 1 in the nation. You can check out Pioneer Hockey in action this weekend, as they try to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games against Miami Ohio. The University of Denver Men’s Soccer program is also in action this weekend, after earning the No. 6 overall seed in the 2016 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championships. With the sixth seed, Denver earns a bye for the second-consecutive season, and will host the winner of San Diego State and UNLV in the second round this Sunday, November 20 at 5 p.m. at CIBER Field. You can also check out volleyball action as the Pioneers enter the Summit League Tournament, being held this weekend in Hamilton Gymnasium, as the top seed. The Pioneers will face the winner of the Fort Wayne/Oral Roberts matchup on Saturday, November 19 at 5 p.m., with the championship game taking place on Sunday.
