BACK TO SCHOOL – STAYING HEALTHY!
Fewer sick days means more time doing what you love! It’s never fun to be sick, but not all illnesses are created equal. The flu is very serious and can lead to hospitalization and even death. This fall as germs begin to spread, protect yourself and everyone around you with a flu shot, and take good care of yourself to avoid getting other bugs that may be going around. Try these healthy tactics to reduce your risk of getting sick:
  • Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Wash your hands often to ward off germs.
  • Go green. Cruciferous veggies like broccoli, kale, and Brussels sprouts may help beef up the immune system.
  • Hold the sugar. It inhibits white blood cells from battling bacteria and viruses.
