DU Club Freeride is open to all male and female DU students who are advanced skiers and/or snowboarders. We encourage growth in freestyle riding and big mountain with competition opportunities throughout the Front Range.
We compete in United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA) freestyle competitions and International Freeskiing & Snowboard Association (IFSA) big mountain competitions. Practices are held on campus at the Ritchie Center, local ski resorts and at off-campus facilities during the fall and winter quarters. Training sessions focus on safe skill progression and injury prevention.
