Daily Workouts Banner Keep fit with a different work out every day from our staff! Here are the daily workouts for March 25 – 31, 2013.

We always recommend that you stretch and complete a five-minute warm-up before and a five-minute cool-down after every workout.

MONDAY, APRIL 1 – Push & Pull Cardio

Details: Complete as many sets as possible in 20 minutes:

  • Row: 250 meters
  • Push-ups: maximum reps possible

TUESDAY, APRIL 2 – Upper Body Muscle Build Routine

Details: Do three sets, increasing weight as reps decrease each set. Complete 12 reps, then 10 reps, then 8 reps:

  • Bench press
  • Lat pull down OR pull-ups
  • DB incline press
  • Seated row
  • Front and lateral raises
  • Upright row
  • Bicep curls
  • Triceps extension

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3 – Cardio with Bodyweight Exercises

Details:Run or walk two miles. After every five minutes, do the following:

  • Burpees: 5 reps
  • Push-ups: 10 reps
  • Jump squats: 15 reps
  • Crossovers: 20 reps
  • Mock sumo deadlift with upright row: 25 reps
  • Mountain climbers: 30 reps

THURSDAY, APRIL 4 – Small Space Workout

Details: Complete two or three sets of 15 reps:

  • Chest press on the floor
  • Leg drop fly
  • Triple crush
  • Firemans
  • Side lunges
  • Plank row
  • Plank twist
  • Suitcase crunches
  • Back extensions
  • Russian twists

FRIDAY, APRIL 5 – 10×10 Workout

Details: Complete 10 sets of 10 reps:

  • Push-ups
  • Box jumps
  • Medicine ball sit-ups

SATURDAY, APRIL 6 – 12-2-12 Workout

Details: Complete two sets of 12 reps:

  • Barbell push-ups
  • Box jumps
  • Backward row
  • Slam ball
  • Lunges
  • Pull-ups
  • Ring dips
  • Sumo dead lift with upright row
  • Front squat and press
  • Medicine ball sit-ups
  • Oblique twists
  • Hanging leg lifts

SUNDAY, APRIL 7 – Circuit Training

Details: Complete each of the following for 30 seconds for one or two sets:

  • Scissor kicks
  • Bicycle crunches
  • Oblique twists
  • Side planks with lift
  • Crossovers
