Daily Workouts Banner Keep fit with a different work out every day from our staff! Here are the daily workouts for May 12-18, 2014.

We always recommend that you stretch and complete a five-minute warm-up before and a five-minute cool-down after every workout.

MONDAY, MAY 12 – Sprint/Walk Workout

Details: Complete six sets of the following:

  • Sprint: 30 seconds
  • Walk: 10 seconds

TUESDAY, MAY 13 – Upper Body Fit Ball & Dumbbell Exercises

Details: Complete two or three sets, 30-45 seconds for each exercises:

  • Dumbbell lateral raises (on a fit ball)
  • Dumbbell seated single bicep curl (on a fit ball)
  • Dumbbell overhead triceps extension
  • Dumbbell triceps kickback

Then:

  • Mountain climbers: 60 seconds
  • Stair runs: 3-5 minutes
  • Jumping rope: 2-3 minutes

WEDNESDAY, May 14 – 10 Then Run

Details: Complete 10 reps of each exercise and run the length of a basketball court between each exercise. Repeat as necessary for 20 minutes:

  • Push-ups
  • Squats (with weights)
  • Plank jacks
  • Single leg wall squat (30 seconds on each leg)
  • Spider walks
  • Wall squats (30 seconds)

THURSDAY, May 15 – 10-Minute Bodyweight Workout

Details: Complete as many sets as possible in 10 minutes:

  • Burpees: 5 reps
  • Push-ups: 10 reps
  • Squats: 15 reps

FRIDAY, MAY 16 – Chest Power Burn

Details: Complete each exercise for one minute, then repeat–reducing time by 20 seconds for each exercise. Repeat the entire workout one or two times:

  • Chest press
  • Reverse fly
  • Alternate press

SATURDAY, MAY 17 – Countdown Part 2

Details: Complete 10 sets, starting with 10 reps in the first set, then decreasing the number of reps by one for each following set:

  • Plank push-ups
  • Sprint: 1/8 of a mile

SUNDAY, MAY 18 – 5 Round Arms

Details: Complete five sets of the following exercises:

  • Mock sumo dead lift high pulls: 10 reps
  • Bear crawl: 50 yards
