Daily Workouts Banner Keep fit with a different work out every day from our staff! Here are the daily workouts for September 2 – September 8, 2013.

We always recommend that you stretch and complete a five-minute warm-up before and a five-minute cool-down after every workout.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 – Core & Lower Body Workout

Details: Complete three sets of each exercise:

  • Walking lunges: 25 reps
  • Squats: 50 reps
  • Sit-ups: 50 reps
  • Back extensions: 25 reps

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 – Kick It Up

Details: Complete eight sets:

  • Sprint: 30 seconds
  • Walk: 60 seconds

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 – Arms & Core

Details: Complete the following exercises in the quickest time possible:

  • Push-ups: 80 reps
  • Dumbbell swings: 60 reps
  • Sit-ups: 40 reps
  • Pull-ups: 20 reps
  • Choice of any exercise: 10 reps

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 – Time-It-Out

Details: Complete the following exercises in the quickest time possible:

  • Sit-ups: 10 reps
  • Back extensions: 15 reps
  • Thrusters: 35 reps
  • Bodyweight rows: 40 reps
  • Sit-ups: 35 reps
  • Back extensions: 10 reps
  • Thrusters: 40 reps
  • Bodyweight rows: 15 reps
  • Sit-ups: 40 reps
  • Back Extensions: 35 reps
  • Thrusters: 15 reps
  • Bodyweight rows: 10 reps

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 – Count It Down

Details: Complete five sets of each exercise, beginning with 25 reps in the first set, then subtracting five from the number of reps for each following set (25-20-15-10-5):

  • Beck extensions
  • Run: 1/4 mile

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 – Timed Countdown

Details: Complete the following exercises in the quickest time possible:

  • Slam ball: 50 reps
  • Thrusters: 30 reps
  • Slam ball: 35 reps
  • Thrusters: 20 reps
  • Slam ball: 20 reps
  • Thrusters: 10 reps

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 – 40-30-20 Workout

Details: Complete three sets of the following exercises:

  • Jump squats: 40 reps
  • Sumo dead lift high pull: 30 reps
  • Clapping push-ups: 20 reps
