Ritchie Center to Close at 1:30 p.m. on March 14; Delay Opening on March 15

Due to inclement weather, the Ritchie Center will close early on Sunday, open at 9 a.m. on Monday

The University of Denver Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness -- including the Coors Fitness Center -- will close at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, and have a delayed opening of 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 15, due to inclement winter weather conditions in the Denver area, Vice Chancellor for Athletics, Recreation and Ritchie Center Operations Karlton Creech announced.

Among the impacted programs are:

  • Public Stick & Puck sessions, which have been canceled or rescheduled. An updated schedule is available on the Stick & Puck page.
  • Sports Activities hosted by Club Sports, which have been canceled for Sunday. An updated schedule is available on the Sports Activities page.
  • The Hilltoppers Swimming meet will conclude at 3:30 p.m.
