You asked, and we listened! New for spring 2021, the Ritchie Center is excited to announce the addition of Family Stick & Puck sessions!

These weekly sessions at Joy Burns Arena are specifically designed to allow young hockey players the chance to work on their skills with their parents/guardians. During Family Stick & Puck sessions, nets are set out on the ice, and youth hockey players can safely improve their shooting, skating and hockey playing skills.

Sessions are open to youth hockey players ages 10 and younger who must attend with a parent or guardian. Siblings may also attend if they are also 10 or younger.

All participants -- youth players and their parent/guardian -- must reserve their spots in each Family Stick & Puck sessions. Single-session admission for both youth skaters and parents/guardians is $15, and 10-punch passes are available for $140. To reserve your spots and purchase admissions, please call 303-871-3845. View the upcoming session schedule on the Stick & Puck page.

Youth participants must wear full hockey gear for Family Stick & Puck sessions, which includes helmets and and hockey pads. Parents/guardians ages 18 and older must wear helmets, long sleeves and hockey gloves. Participants must bring their own skates, pucks, sticks and water bottles.

COVID-19 safety protocols will continue to be enforced including wearing masks at all times when within the facility and during ice activities. All participants will be required to complete a symptom check form within two hours of the start of each session, and temperatures will be taken before being allowed into the arena.
