S.A.V.E. scholarships, presented by SuperBook Sports, are available for recreation programs, including P.A.S.S. (Pioneer Athletic Super Summer) Camp and coach-owned camps for the summer of 2022, hosted at the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness.
 
Sports, Arts, Volunteerism and Education are the principles for the S.A.V.E. scholarship program. In order to address these values, all criteria must be met to receive a S.A.V.E. scholarship for participation in a University of Denver sponsored program.
 
University of Denver Athletics and Recreation have partnered with Superbook Sports to provide S.A.V.E. scholarships this summer for youth 5-11 years old impacted by the Boulder County fires in support of Marshall ROC (Restoring our Community). These full scholarships are meant to aid in their recovery through sports and wellness. For more informtion on Marshall ROC, click here.
 
Thanks to the generosity of Superbook Sports, S.A.V.E. scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, for youth impacted directly or indirectly to the Boulder Country fires. Recipients will receive a FULL scholarship (registration fees vary per program) to attend athletic and recreation summer sport/wellness programs offered at no cost.
 
Qualified applicants may request S.A.V.E. scholarship assistance by completing the following process. 

• Submit request for scholarship assistance in writing for consideration to include circumstance, impact, and how the scholarship will benefit recipient(s). Please reference the principles of S.A.V.E including sports, arts, volunteering and education.
• Email submission for consideration to: athl.save@du.edu at two (2) weeks prior to the start of the program requested. 
• S.A.V.E. Scholarship committee will review application and respond within 5 business days of submission.
• S.A.V.E. Scholarship recipients (contact) will receive email confirmation with copy to committee, program leadership and coaches associated.
